Heather Alexander was a filker and professional musician, until she retired to give room for Alexander James Adams in 2006. She was a member of Phoenyx until it disbanded in 1991, and of Uffington Horse until 2006.
Adams prefers to refer to Heather as a distinct identity and himself as her heir, rather than retroactively applying the Alexander James Adams name to the pre-transition work.
