Folk Songs for Solar Sailors back cover

This CD is a compilation of two albums, which were originally released on LP: Folk Songs for Folk Who Ain't Even Been Yet (1976) and Solar Sailors (1977). Each features a slightly different incarnation of the Dehorn Crew; both feature the first recordings of some of the best-known songs by Leslie Fish. The first 11 tracks are from FSFFWAEBY; the rest are from SS, in the order in which they originally appeared on the LPs. All songs are written by Leslie Fish, unless otherwise noted. Lead singer on any track is either Leslie Fish or Mary Frohman (noted as MF; all the rest are Leslie). We could not possibly make room here for Kathleen Taylor's excellent booklet notes for SS, so I wrote new ones. MC
