FilkCONtinental is a filk convention held in Wernigerode, Germany, in early fall. It was previously held at the Freusburg castle.
It was founded by Kirstin Tanger (nee Scholz) and Katy Dröge and was co-run by them until 2017. Katy quit due to health reasons in 2020, thus FC is now run by Kirstin and Volker Tanger. Since 2018, the con has been taking breaks, it is now held every other year, alternating with Intermezzo.
Unlike the other German filk con, DFDF, FilkCONtinental traditionally invites North American or British GOHs.
